Is Mycopunk crossplay?

Checked 2026-10-23. Patch context 2.0.2.

Not that I can verify. Steam and PlayStation both sell the game. Neither page, nor Devolver's page, says the two pools play together. I will not write soon.

What would count as a yes

A yes would be a sentence on the Steam page, the PlayStation page, a Devolver post, or a patch note that names crossplay or cross-platform play. I did not find that sentence on 23 Oct 2026. Forum hope is not a feature.

Reddit and Steam discussions ask the question because friends split across PC and PS5 at launch. The official sticky I saw was about PS5 crashes, not about opening the pools.

How I would squad up today

Same store. Two Steam copies, or two PS5 copies with Plus. A Steam player and a PS5 player should assume they cannot join each other until a patch note says they can.

Controller support on PC is not crossplay. It only means a PC player can use a pad. The Xbox page is the same kind of negative: no listing, no date.
